A lovely find this one. 2006 American lefty Telecaster that hadn’t left the house much. It looked like she’d been banged against every piece of furniture possible though. Not quite up to its dozen-dink Mojo threshold, sadly, which meant no-one else seemed to want her.
A shame really, because she had a really lovely low action, and sounded just like she should when plugged in.
Add a few dozen more dings and half a lifetime’s worth of Wilko Johnson-style arm-rubs, and hey presto, Corinna Corona emerged from the shadows.
I’ve been playing this one more than is strictly healthy from a can’t bear-to-part-with-it perspective. If you love Telecasters, this is as good a one as you’ll find anywhere.
